Open Face Mushroom Burger

Serves 6

2 pounds ground meat

1 onion diced

1 cup canned mushrooms drained

6 drops tabasco

2 tablespoons David Wade Worcestershire Powder

1 teaspoon garlic salt

pinch of oregano

salt to taste

pepper to taste

6 strips bacon

paprika

Mix ground beef in a large bowl with onion, mushrooms, tabasco, worcestershire powder, garlic salt, oregano, salt and pepper. Form into 6 large patties and wrap each patty with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Sprinkle each side with a little paprika.

Cook on a grill at about 275 degrees for 15 minutes and flip for another 15 minutes. Need to cook at this temperature for this length of time to ensure that middle of thick burger cooks thoroughly.

Place the cooked burger on a piece of cheesy toast or half bun.
