Ingredients (Per Burger)

½ pound ground meat per burger

¼ teaspoon salt per burger

¼ teaspoon pepper per burger

½ teaspoon Davis Wade Worcestershire Powder per burger

4 teaspoons mustard per burger

4 teaspoons chopped onion per burger

2 teaspoons chopped jalapenos

1/3 heaping cup of grated cheese. You can substitute any kind of cheese that you prefer, grated or sliced

Optional ingredients: chopped mushrooms, bacon, spinach

Preparation

  1. Spray grill grate with pam or wipe with oil

  2. Preheat grill to high heat

  3. Flatten each ½ pound burger to about 1/3 of an inch thick on a piece of foil that is sprayed with pam; It should be pretty large, like an omelet

  4. Sprinkle Worcestershire Powder on patty

  5. Sprinkle salt and pepper on each patty

  6. Spread mustard around patty being careful not to get too close to the edge of the patty.

  7. Add chopped onions on one half of patty. Remember, don’t get too close to the edge of the patty

  8. Add chopped jalapenos

  9. Add grated or sliced cheese. Don’t get too close to the edge of the patty.

  10. Using both hands, fold the patty inside the foil so that it closes like an omelet. Seal the edges of the patty so that nothing drips out while cooking.

  11. Cook your burgers on the hot grill for about 4 minutes per side. Be careful when flipping the patty so you don’t break the seal and allow the cheese to drip out of the burger

  12. Place your cheesy burger on a plate and choose your favorite side. Our favorites are thin onion rings and ranch style beans
